What does it mean?
Who has created it?
Where does it come from?
I get all these questions asked on a frequent basis, therefore I would like to share the answers with you and the journey of this logo.
I have always been very creative and the past years I have worked frequently on developing logos, sketches and slogans for several companies. Throughout these years of experience and my creative mindset I decided to create a blog to become even more creative, to express myself and write about things that matter to me. Having said this it was pretty clear, that I would need a logo which has a strong meaning to myself and therefore I would also develop myself.
I started off with writing down what was important to me, what symboly I feel connected to, in what ways I like to express myself and what could represent me. It was a very long list, that is sure. I then started to sketch symbols, ideas and slogans connected to the words and the way I felt about them.
- That the centre piece was going to be a lion was sure from the beginning, as I have always had a strong connection to the lion as an animal and what he represents – strength, fearless, leadership. As I consider strength and leadership as very important character traights of mine as well as being fearless in all meanings (whether that is to express me and my opinion or in difficult situations) it was clear, that the lion needed to pay a big role in my logo.
- As I am still on a journey, a long journey, the lion is “incomplete” as the traingles are there still to find their spaces.
- The arrows symbolies a compass, helping to travel the world and to find my way around.
é Viola, my logo is finished!
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do,
Here is the progress of the logo:
